STEM Magic Demo

Description:
We will be demoing the students a bunch of cool STEM “magic” experiments, in a show-like format. After each demo, students will collaborate and apply critical thinking skills to explain the observed phenomena. Our teachers will provide guidance, and encourage these interpretations. Afterwards, we will give a holistic explanation as to the observed phenomena, teaching them new STEM concepts as they collaborate.
Our Goal:
Our goal with this demo is to help foster curiosity and passion within STEM principles. Whether your child has prior knowledge or not, we want to make STEM fun. We hope your kid can find this demo engaging and informative, developing a curiosity to want to pursue STEM further.
Demo Hosts:
This class will be run under STEM Beyond Boundaries, a nonprofit organization dedicated towards empowering STEM passion within young students. Stem Beyond Boundaries is a nonprofit focused on sparking passion for STEM in elementary and middle schoolers.
Requirements:
Age Range: We do not have a specified age range! Anyone of any ages may attend, and no prior STEM background is required.
Parent Supervision: Our demos will not involve anything dangerous, but would prefer guardian supervision present.
Wardrobe Requirements: Show up with closed-toe footwear, and casual but school-appropriate clothes.
